ADCMC Launches Annual Business Continuity And
Alternative National Service Forum In Abu Dhabi

The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) has initiated the
annual ‘Business Continuity and Alternative National Service - Murona’ Forum. This event is
designed to boost crisis management readiness and ensure that essential services continue
without interruption. Over two days, it gathers dignitaries and representatives from various
government bodies.
The Forum's primary goal is to underline ADCMC’s vital role in crisis management. It seeks to raise
awareness about the importance of maintaining business and service continuity while introducing
alternative strategies for operations during emergencies. Additionally, it provides a platform for
networking and knowledge exchange among leaders from different sectors.
A significant highlight of the first day was the launch of the ‘Abu Dhabi Healthcare Business
Continuity Standard’. This initiative, developed with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, is a
pioneering global standard aimed at enhancing resilience in healthcare services across the
emirate. It is part of a broader series of standards for critical activities in Abu Dhabi.
Matar Al Nuaimi, Director-General of ADCMC, stated, "The Forum is a testament to the Centre’s
commitment to enhancing Abu Dhabi’s readiness and resilience. It aligns with our leadership’s
