Nahyan bin Mubarak receives participants of first consultative meeting of ‘AI Faith & Civil

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, today
received, in his palace, Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Council for
Fatwa and Head of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, along with Myles Stacey, Special
Advisor to the UK Prime Minister, and several officials who participated in the first
consultative meeting of the AI Faith & Civil Society Commission, organised by the Abu
Dhabi Forum for Peace in Abu Dhabi from February 27 to 29.

During the meeting, Sheikh Nahyan said that the UAE, led by President His Highness
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, respects and appreciates knowledge and
scholars who are inspired by its rich culture that combines genuine values, noble ideals,
openness, progress, and development for the good of humanity.
