Shaikha Fatima: Barakatna shows UAE’s promise

for a kind, fair society

Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, said that the UAE always cares for its
elderly people. She said that under the kind leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al
Nahyan, the country is doing its best to help old people live a better life.

Sheikha Fatima is the head of many important groups, like the General Women’s Union and the
Family Development Foundation. She said the UAE is one of the best countries when it comes to
caring for old people. The country gives them love, help, and respect. It also supports the people
who take care of them, like their family members.

She was speaking about the Barakatna program, which was started by the Department of
Community Development and the Family Development Foundation. This program brings together
many people and groups who want to help old people live a happy and proud life with their families.

She said this program is very important because it helps old people feel safe, strong, and happy. It
also helps their families take good care of them. The program makes sure old people get good food,
health care, and love. It shows that the UAE wants to build a kind and fair country where everyone is
looked after.
