New penalties for driving offences
The Dubai Police have introduced stricter penalties for traffic violations, including
vehicle impoundment for up to 30 days. If you’re caught using your mobile phone while
driving, tailgating, or making sudden lane changes, your car could be confiscated for a
month under the updated federal traffic law.
