        The Board of Directors of the Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) convened its second meeting of the year on May 27, 2025, at the
        Institute’s headquarters. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Counsellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of
        Dubai and Chairman of the DJI Board of Directors.

        Also present were key legal leaders, including H.E. Professor Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts and Vice
        Chairman of the Board; H.E. Counsellor Dr. Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs
        Department; H.E. Counsellor Ahmed bin Meshar Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee of Dubai;
        H.E. Counsellor Abdul-Moneim Salem bin Suwaidan, Lawyer; and H.E. Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director General of
        the Dubai Judicial Institute.

        The session opened with the ratification of the minutes from the previous meeting and the review of the DJI’s Annual Report for
        2024. The report emphasized the Institute’s commitment to global standards in judicial training and its pivotal role in
        strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for justice and legal excellence.

        A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to discussing future partnerships with legal and training institutions. The Board
        stressed the importance of expanding collaborative efforts to enhance DJI’s influence and outreach. Among the key initiatives
        reviewed was the forthcoming launch of the ‘Judicial and Legal Studies Program for Judicial Trainees – Criminal Track’, a
        specialized program aimed at preparing Emirati legal professionals for advanced roles within the criminal judiciary.

        Concluding the meeting, the Board reiterated the Institute’s ongoing efforts to update its training strategies and programs to
        meet evolving legal and judicial needs. These enhancements support DJI’s mission of serving as a leading center for legal
        education and knowledge development.

        Importantly, the Dubai Judicial Institute has recently received official accreditation from the National Qualifications Center, under
        the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, solidifying its status as a certified judicial training authority in the UAE.
