Dubai Culture And Dubai Judicial Institute Partner To
Advance Legal Literacy And Cultural Exchange
In a strategic move to strengthen legal awareness and cultural literacy across the emirate, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority
(Dubai Culture) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Judicial Institute. The agreement, signed at
the Etihad Museum, aims to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration in judicial and legislative domains.
The signing ceremony was attended by HE Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, and HE Judge Dr Ebtessam Ali Al
Badwawi, Director General of Dubai Judicial Institute, alongside senior officials from both organisations.
The MoU establishes a framework for collaborative training initiatives, including workshops, seminars, conferences, and forums
designed to raise public awareness of legal principles within the creative and cultural sectors. It also paves the way for joint
research, co-authored publications, exchange visits, and shared access to institutional resources such as books, reports, and
academic journals.
Hala Badri emphasised the importance of this partnership in fostering a legally informed creative community, stating:
“This MoU is a landmark step in raising awareness within the cultural sector and demonstrates our resolve to exchange best
practices and deliver impactful experiences that strengthen proficiency in regulatory requirements for individuals working in the
industry. It also contributes to stimulating innovation and encouraging investment i
n the knowledge economy.”
