Centena Group wins ESG label award
segregation for hazardous and electronic materials. Initiatives like setting quarterly targets for
energy and water consumption reduction further reflect a data-driven commitment to environmental

        responsibility.

Beyond environmental scores, Centena also received a 71% rating in preparedness and

awareness, highlighting its capacity to adapt to evolving ESG demands. The report outlined

opportunities for even greater impact, including expanding waste reduction to office and food
waste, optimising transport emissions, and investing in offsetting solutions such as tree planting or

        renewable energy projects.

Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Raghunath said, “While we take pride in this

achievement, we view it as a stepping stone toward deeper ESG integration. Our strategy is clear
—evaluate, identify gaps, and build a sustainable future rooted in action.”

Centena’s business arms reflect this ethos: ScreenCheck minimises tech waste through rewritable
ID cards and energy-efficient data centres; Emphor IPS assists clients in environmental compliance

via water analysis systems and emission monitoring; Maritronics protects marine life through
ballast water technologies; and ATLAB educates students in conservation and renewable energy.

Looking ahead, Centena plans to implement the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—across
departments while expanding its waste management programs. These steps are part of its broader

vision to evolve as a sustainability-driven organisation with clear, measurable goals and continuous
        improvement embedded in its DNA.
