        Key Features of the New Policy


           Flexible working hours: Employees are required to complete 5.5 hours from Monday

           to Thursday and three hours on Friday.

           Remote work option: Eligible employees may work remotely up to two days a week,

           subject to their job responsibilities and work conditions.

           Operational continuity: Employees must coordinate with their direct managers to

           ensure seamless operations and uninterrupted public service.


        This initiative aims to enhance employee comfort and well-being during Ramadan,

        ensuring that productivity remains consistent while accommodating the spiritual and

        personal needs of government employees.




        Encouraging Private Sector Participation



        The Dubai Government also encourages private sector companies to consider similar
        flexible arrangements, customized to their operational needs. This initiative aims to

        promote business continuity while supporting employee well-being during Ramadan.
