H.E. Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, emphasized that the award aligns
with the Dubai Government’s vision of creating an advanced and forward-looking human resources
ecosystem.
H.E. stated: “The ‘Research Awards’ is a pioneering initiative by DGHR designed to drive innovative
research solutions that address future workplace challenges. DGHR is committed to leveraging
advanced strategies aligned with global trends to develop national talent, enhance their expertise, and
establish a highly competitive human capital landscape, further strengthening Dubai’s status as a
global hub for innovation and excellence in human resources management.”
Strategic Academic Collaborations
Dr. Mansoor Alawar, Chancellor of HBMSU, noted that the award’s launch reflects the UAE’s
commitment to fostering scientific research and innovation in human capital development, in line with
the ‘We Are the UAE 2031’ vision and the national strategy for talent attraction. He highlighted the
importance of the university’s engagement in advancing government policymaking through rigorous
scientific research, academic assessments, and adherence to the highest standards of quality and
innovation.
Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine
and Health Sciences (MBRU), underscored the significance of the award in strengthening human
resource development through evidence-based research. He commended the Dubai Government’s
commitment to nurturing its workforce by fostering a culture of research and innovation. He further
noted that the Dubai Academic Health System integrates education and discovery to enhance the
healthcare ecosystem through best practices.
Dr. Yousef Al Assaf, President of RIT Dubai, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to creating an
integrated business ecosystem that connects the public and private sectors through the use of
advanced technology. He expressed enthusiasm for RIT Dubai’s role as a key partner in the launch of
the Research Awards 2025, emphasizing the importance of equipping Dubai Government employees
and students with technological skills that enhance their projects and professional capabilities in a
rapidly evolving job market.
H.E. Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of
Government (MBRSG), highlighted the research award’s role in promoting a culture of scientific
inquiry in human resources. He stressed its importance in shaping governmental policies and
improving institutional performance. He reiterated MBRSG’s commitment to supporting research that
