(MOYS), this year’s forum will focus on the theme ‘Knowledge Economy and
Human Development.’
The Youth Knowledge Forum is a key platform for young people, decision-makers
and experts to discuss practical ways to strengthen the knowledge economy and
support sustainable development. The event highlights Egypt’s commitment to
placing youth at the center of national progress under President Abdel Fattah El-
Sisi’s leadership.
Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy stated that hosting the
Youth Knowledge Forum shows the nation’s dedication to empowering young
people as builders of the New Republic. MBRF CEO Jamal bin Huwaireb confirmed
that the forum reflects MBRF’s efforts to inspire youth to tackle future challenges
through knowledge and innovation.
The Youth Knowledge forum’s agenda will include dynamic discussions on
entrepreneurship, digital transformation, human capital development and the
ethical use of AI. The Youth Knowledge Forum will also explore how arts,
education reforms and the fight against misinformation can advance a sustainable
knowledge economy. Participants will hear success stories from emerging Arab
entrepreneurs and take part in open dialogues to share challenges and solutions.
UNDP Egypt Acting Resident Representative, Ghimar Deeb emphasized that, the
UNDP and MBRF remain dedicated to equipping young people with skills for
digital transformation, green growth and entrepreneurship.
The Youth Knowledge Forum aligns with both partners goal of helping youth lead
the shift towards an inclusive, knowledge-based future.
