The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Centre (ADCMC) has been awarded the
Institutional Readiness and Resilience Accreditation from the Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI), making it

one of three global entities to receive this accreditation annually.

This accreditation enhances the center’s ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies, crises and
disasters.

The center obtained accreditation after an optimal evaluation of the level of institutional maturity in the specialised
field, through conducting a comprehensive review of the main documents to ensure that they meet the center’s goals
and tasks, and are consistent with future aspirations in this field.

This included operational documents and procedures, assessment and planning processes, testing plan and
awareness training plans, crisis communication plan, incident and emergency management plan, and other relevant
operational documents and procedures.

His Excellency Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Head of

the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, appreciated the great efforts
