ADCMC Becomes First Emergency
Management Centre To Achieve Resilient
Enterprise Accreditation

The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre – Abu Dhabi (ADCMC)
has reached a significant milestone by obtaining the Resilient Enterprise
Assessment Programme (REAP) accreditation from Disaster Recovery Institute
International (DRI International). This makes ADCMC the first specialised emergency
management centre globally to receive this recognition, joining a select group of only
three organisations worldwide awarded this certification annually.
With this accreditation, ADCMC is now part of an esteemed list of global
organisations recognised by DRI International since 1988. The centre underwent a
thorough evaluation of its institutional maturity in the specialised field. This
assessment involved a comprehensive review of key documents to ensure they align
with ADCMC's objectives, responsibilities, and future goals.
The REAP accreditation enhances ADCMC's ability to respond swiftly and effectively
to emergencies, crises, and disasters. It aligns with international standards for crisis
