Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, recently attended the football segment of the UAE
School Games' second edition. He observed the competitive spirit among student teams from
various emirates. This championship supports the UAE's national goals to boost school sports,
discover young talents, and fulfil the country's sports ambitions.
The UAE Sports Federation for School and University Education Institutions organises this event
with support from the Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Education, UAE National Olympic Committee,
and other sports federations. This collaboration aims to develop school sports and ensure the
event's success.

Dr. Al Falasi praised the exceptional talents displayed at the event. He emphasised that schools are
vital in nurturing national sports talents and developing future Olympic champions. "Schools are
the key incubators of national sports talents and the foundation for developing Olympic champions
who can win titles and championships while raising the national flag at major global sports events,"
he stated.
