The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has recently unveiled a
comprehensive guide dedicated to enhancing health, occupational safety, and environmental
practices within the Dubai government sector. This initiative is in line with the strategic vision of
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler
of Dubai, aiming to foster a workplace that prioritizes safety, well-being, and environmental
preservation.

Formulated under the directives of the Government of Dubai Human Resources Management Law
No. 8 of 2018 and the Military Human Resources Legislation in Dubai, this guide seeks to instill a
culture that adeptly manages occupational health, safety risks, and environmental considerations.
It encourages governmental departments to adhere to established conditions and standards,
ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, the Director-General of the DGHR Department, underscored the
