In an effort to advance Dubai’s sustainability and appeal
Dubai Municipality allocates 3,150 cleaning supervisors and
workers to oversee public hygiene operations during Eid Al-Adha
holiday
• The municipality has allocated 2,250 municipal sanitation engineers and 650
private sector sanitation engineers.
• 250 supervisory and control staff members have been designated to manage
tasks and handle emergency field reports.
• To manage a total of 2,300 kilometers of main roads, the municipality has
assigned a team of 165 supervisors and sanitation engineers.
• A field team including 91 staff and sanitation engineers have been allocated to
ensure cleanliness of public beaches.
• The Municipality has deployed a total of 759 vehicles and equipment for regular
field programs, offering support and responding to emergencies.
14 June, 2024: Dubai Municipality announced its plan to manage public cleanliness
operations and community services related to sustainable waste management in
different areas during the Eid Al-Adha holiday in the emirate, for which it has
allocated 3,150 field supervisors and sanitation engineers. The municipality’s efforts
include implementing technical programs, creating work plans and coordinating
supervisory and field activities with an aim of retaining cleanliness on all roads,
including highways, residential areas, markets, public beaches, waterways, and public
facilities.
