public beaches for families during Eid

Families will have exclusive access to eight of Dubai's public beaches during
the Eid Al-Adha holiday. The goal is to control the influx of tourists so that
everyone may enjoy the emirate's beaches while they're here.

Enhanced Safety Measures for Families at Dubai Beaches

In an effort to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for families during the
Eid Al-Adha break, Dubai authorities have announced that eight public
beaches will be reserved exclusively for families. This measure aims to
regulate visitor numbers and maintain a conducive environment for
beachgoers across the emirate during the holiday period.
The designated beaches include Khor Al-Mamzar Beach, Cornish Al-Mamzar,
Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and
Jebel Ali Beach. By restricting access to families only, authorities aim to
create a family-friendly atmosphere and cater to the specific needs and
preferences of beach visitors during the festive season.
To further enhance safety and security at these beaches, Dubai Municipality
has mobilized a comprehensive safety and rescue team comprising 140
members. This team will be deployed to ensure swift response to any
emergencies and to provide assistance to beachgoers as needed.
In addition to the safety and rescue team, a dedicated field control team
consisting of 65 members will oversee beach operations. Their primary
objective is to enforce security protocols and maintain safety standards
throughout the beach areas. By implementing rigorous control measures,
authorities seek to minimize risks and safeguard the well-being of all beach
patrons.
Apart from operational measures, Dubai authorities are also focusing on
community engagement and awareness campaigns to promote responsible
beach behavior. Through educational initiatives and public announcements,
residents and visitors will be reminded of the importance of adhering to safety
guidelines and respecting beach regulations.
