Dubai Municipality launches the “Artificial
Intelligence Roadmap” to enhance its leadership
in the areas of municipal work

In line with Dubai’s annual plan to accelerate the adoption of the uses and applications of artificial
intelligence launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, which aims to enhance the quality
of life in Dubai by accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence in all future sectors, and
providing… The best environment for artificial intelligence companies and international talents, and
making the emirate a global laboratory for this technology. Dubai Municipality announced the
launch of the “Roadmap for Artificial Intelligence”, to employ advanced technology in qualitative
and strategic projects related to a number of key tasks undertaken by the municipality.
This came during Dubai Municipality’s participation in the Artificial Intelligence Retreat 2024, which
was organized by the Dubai Center for the Uses of Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with the
National Program for Artificial Intelligence, with the participation of more than 1,000 decision-
makers, experts and officials from the government and private sectors, to discuss the opportunities
offered by artificial intelligence locally and globally, and to present Immediate solutions and
contribute to developing basic strategies for adoption in all sectors.
