Bin Touq emphasised the robust UAE–Canada relations, which have grown through high-level visits and bilateral meetings.

He stressed building on these achievements to create new partnerships. Both public and private sectors are crucial in
driving sustainable growth and innovation.

The minister noted that hosting this event in Alberta aligns with Investopia’s vision to expand globally. It aims to connect

international investors with rapidly growing markets. The rise in Canadian business activity in the UAE is evident with
14,719 Canadian trade licences by August 2025, marking a 19% increase from the previous year.

A roundtable meeting of the UAE–Canada Business Council took place alongside the event. Bin Touq participated with

representatives from both countries' government and private sectors. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral

investment partnerships and expanding cooperation in new economy sectors.

The meeting also explored ways to facilitate investment flows and develop joint projects supporting sustainable growth. It

aimed at enabling entrepreneurs from both nations to expand internationally.
