Guest Of Honour Promoting Economic Cooperation

Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with the UAE and Indonesia participating as official Guests of Honour. The event was

graced by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to China; Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the

Ministry of Economy and Tourism; Muhannad Sulaiman Al Naqbi, UAE Consul-General in Shanghai; along with senior
officials and representatives from government entities and national companies.

Al Saleh emphasised the expo's role in enhancing global economic collaboration, particularly in digital trade. He

acknowledged China's invitation for the UAE to be a Guest of Honour and commended the organisation of the event. "The

UAE-China ties have expanded significantly over the past four decades," he stated, highlighting that the UAE is now
China's top non-oil trading partner in the Middle East and Africa.
