Number of Korean Companies Grows to 1,300
The UAE has seen a 16% rise in Korean companies since August 2024,
reinforcing its role as a strategic hub for Korean trade and investment in the
Middle East and North Africa.

Abu Dhabi – The United Arab Emirates has further cemented its role as a vital gateway for Korean trade and
investment, with nearly 1,300 Korean companies now operating in the country, marking a growth of more than
16% compared to August 2024.
The announcement came from Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, during a high-
level meeting in Abu Dhabi with a visiting delegation of business leaders from the Republic of Korea. The
delegation was led by Yoon Jin-sik, Chairman of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), and included
representatives of 25 leading Korean companies across multiple industries, including technology, healthcare,
energy, artificial intelligence, investment, and electric vehicles.
