Manama, Sep. 7 (BNA): Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, met with Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais, newly

elected Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).

The Tourism Minister emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and unifying regional

efforts to establish the Gulf Cooperation Council as a single, integrated tourist destination, boosting the region’s global

presence and competitiveness. She noted that cooperation with the UNWTO is a key opportunity to support tourism
