Appreciation For Humanitarian Teams
The SLC Secretary General also extended appreciation to humanitarian organizations and workers across the globe, with particular
recognition for national humanitarian teams whose efforts reinforce the UAE’s global standing in the fields of humanitarian action and
sustainable development.
“On this occasion, the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai extends its sincere appreciation to all humanitarian
organisations and workers worldwide, particularly the national humanitarian teams, whose contributions continue to enhance the standing of
the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE in the fields of humanitarian work and sustainable development.”
World Humanitarian Day was established by the United Nations to honor aid workers who risk their lives in humanitarian service and to rally
global support for people affected by crises.
