Bilateral non-oil trade between the UAE and New
Zealand totalled USD 460.3mn in the first half of 2024,
up 11.5% from the same period in 2023. The UAE is
currently New Zealand's largest trading partner in the
Middle East and tenth largest globally.
The CEPA is also expected to boost investment between
the two countries. UAE investments in New Zealand
totalled over USD 170.2mn in 2021, while FDI from New
Zealand to the UAE rose to USD 74.2mn.
