The World Free Zones Organisation (World FZO) recently wrapped up its 10th Annual World
Congress, drawing over 2,000 attendees from 136 nations. This event, held under the
patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, marked a decade

since the organisation's founding in Dubai. The organisation has significantly influenced
global standards and sustainable development efforts.

Over the past ten years, World FZO has expanded its membership from 14 original
members to a robust network of 1,600 members across 141 countries. This growth is
supported by a global network comprising 12 regional offices and 42 national contact
points. The congress began with a 'Ministerial Meeting' attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al
Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, along with other dignitaries.
