UAE And China Explore Strategic Partnership Opportunities At Beijing Economic Forum

The UAE showcased its participation at the China International Fair for Trade in Services
(CIFTIS) 2024, held in Beijing. The event, themed ‘Global Services, Shared Prosperity,’
highlighted the UAE's commitment to international trade. Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Al
Muaini and Khaled Mohammed Al Shehhi co-opened the UAE pavilion alongside Guo Huai
Gang. Representatives from both countries' government and private sectors attended the
opening.

On the sidelines of CIFTIS, the ‘UAE - Beijing Economic Forum’ was organised by Beijing
and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. This forum celebrated 40

years of UAE-China relations under the theme ‘Forty Years of Prosperity.’ Discussions
focused on strategic partnerships and cooperation in technology and new economy
sectors. The forum also explored intellectual property applications in creative industries.
