DGHR Launches First Workshop To Promote Research

Awards 2025 For National Talents

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) recently hosted an online workshop
to introduce the 'Research Awards 2025'. This initiative aligns with DGHR's strategic vision to
empower local talents, including government staff and university students, while enhancing
Dubai's human resources framework. The award aims to foster innovative scientific solutions that
meet the evolving needs of modern workplaces.

Over 300 participants attended the virtual workshop, including employees from various government
bodies and students from partner universities such as Mohammed Bin Rashid University of
Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG),
Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), and Rochester Institute of Technology of
Dubai (RIT Dubai).

Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of DGHR, emphasised the significance of the
Research Awards. He stated that it represents a pivotal step in fostering a workplace culture
centred on creativity, innovation, and practical knowledge across multiple fields. This initiative aims
to create a flexible and sustainable government ecosystem.

Al Falasi further explained, "The Research Awards serves as a strategic platform to advance critical
thinking and facilitate robust national knowledge production, further supporting key decision-
