Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation explores prospects for cooperation with Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports

AISK.. The Minister of Youth and Sports held a meeting with Dr. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, with
the aim of discussing prospects for joint cooperation between the two parties, in the presence of the leaders of the ministry and the foundation.

The meeting discussed the approval of the Egyptian Knowledge Youth Office in coordination with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, in
line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, and the approval of its plan to extend for three years, in addition to discussing knowledge awareness efforts.

Also discussing areas of enhancing knowledge and building youth capacities through joint programmes and initiatives, exchanging expertise and knowledge, and
examining mechanisms for working on initiatives aimed at empowering youth, qualifying them for the labour market and enhancing their role in sustainable
development.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, welcomed Dr. Jamal bin Huwaireb, praising the fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and
the Great Foundation in many important matters that serve Egyptian youth in general and society as a whole.

The Minister pointed out that the Ministry deals with various local and regional community sectors through the Ministry’s various sectors and with a clear vision and
strategy that deals with different age groups.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi also stressed that the Ministry is working to develop the capabilities of Egyptian youth and enhance their skills in various cognitive fields, as well as
spreading the culture of knowledge and scientific research among youth, and linking youth to global knowledge sources, through the Egyptian Knowledge Youth
Office at the Ministry, in cooperation and coordination with the Foundation and relevant authorities.
