His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Attends the Launch of the
4th Edition of the Al Bader Festival and Affirms Its Role in Promoting the
Principles of Tolerant Islam
FUJAIRAH, UAE, 11 September 2025: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended the launch of the fourth
edition of the Al Bader Festival and emphasised the importance of instilling the values of the noble seerah (biography) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be
upon him) in the hearts of future generations. He also underlined the significance of following the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) path and upholding his
blessed legacy.
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed and in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture at the Fujairah Creative Centre, the Al Bader Festival
coincides with the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birth anniversary.
The launch of the 2025 edition of the Al Bader Festival was also attended by Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and
Media Authority; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation; His Excellency Dr. Omar
Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of the
Ministry of Culture.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed toured the exhibitions held in conjunction with the Al Bader Festival, namely The Glow of Maqamat and Al Burda. During his visit,
he viewed a collection of artworks by participants from around the world. These pieces showcase the beauty of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) noble
biography through various creative expressions in Islamic art.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the attention given by the Emirate of Fujairah, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al
Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to initiatives aimed at consolidating noble values, promoting good morals, and
strengthening communication among the peoples of the world. This vision is rooted in shared human values, concepts of tolerance and the principles of
coexistence derived from Islam and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
During his speech at the festival's opening ceremony, Dr. Hamad Al Buqaishi, Secretary General of the Al Bader Initiative, said that this year's edition
features a wide range of creative activities highlighting the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and celebrating Islamic arts in various forms. He also
noted that the festival attracts artists, creatives, and specialists in literature, art and expression to enhance its program with diverse events that align with its
objectives.
The opening ceremony of the 2025 edition of the Al Bader Festival included a visual presentation showcasing the festival's journey since its inception, as
well as a theatrical operetta titled, The Miracles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), performed by students from the schools in Fujairah. This production was
directed and produced by Ibrahim Al Qahoumi, Hamad Al Danhani, and Saeed Suleiman, under the supervision of the Dibba Society for Culture, Arts, and
Theatre.
