He added: “Throughout the years, Emirati women have played a pivotal role in building a cohesive society and raising
beautiful generations through their contributions as mothers and wives.
“With determination and perseverance, they have gone further, participating effectively in shaping our nation’s
prosperous present and radiant future, under the guidance of our wise leadership, represented by President His
Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“This year’s theme – ‘Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years’ – shines a spotlight on the pioneering accomplishments
of Emirati women over the past five decades and the vital role they continue to play in every sector.”
The celebration, he concluded, “is a joyous national occasion on which we reaffirm our commitment to the Emirati
woman, take pride in her achievements and reiterate our trust in her role as a key partner in the nation’s journey of
progress”, while “reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global model for women’s empowerment”.
