Sharjah Airport celebrates Air Arabia’s

first flight to Phuket

Sharjah Airport marked a significant milestone with a ceremony commemorating the launch of
the first Air Arabia flight to Phuket, Thailand. The event was graced by the presence of His

Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, Her Excellency Nipa
Nirannoot, Consul General, Thailand in Dubai, His Excellency Khanin Boony Asopat, Consul
Visa, Dubai, and a group of officials and directors from the Authority and Air Arabia.

The Airbus A321 will connect Sharjah Airport and Phuket International Airport with four weekly

flights, providing passengers with a more convenient option to explore one of the notable
destinations in the world. This move is consistent with the Sharjah Airport Authority’s efforts to
diversify and expand the range of travel options at the Airport. In addition, this step also aims to
