        The Maritime Standard (TMS) Awards 2025, the region’s premier celebration of maritime

        excellence, has announced this year’s winners, recognising outstanding achievements across
        the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. The prestigious ceremony, held on 29 October at
        Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, drew over 1,000 senior executives, decision-makers, and industry
        leaders from around the world.


        Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai

        Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates
        Airline and Group, the event honoured 25 award categories spanning shipping, logistics, offshore
        services, ship repair, marine technology, and related sectors. Special awards were also presented

        to individuals demonstrating exceptional leadership and contribution to the maritime industry.


        Celebrating Maritime Excellence And Innovation


        The 2025 Awards reflected the industry’s forward momentum amid global shifts
        toward decarbonisation, digitalisation, and supply chain resilience. From clean-fuel
        initiatives to AI-driven port operations and international collaborations that enhance trade
        efficiency, the winning projects showcased the maritime sector’s pivotal role in sustainable global

        commerce.


        The event was hosted by Yalda Hakim, the acclaimed international journalist and filmmaker,
        whose presence added prestige to the ceremony. The keynote address was delivered by Captain
        Abdulkareem Al Masabi, CEO of ADNOC Logistics and Services, who highlighted the UAE’s

        leadership in driving sustainable and innovative maritime practices.


        Recognising Outstanding Achievement


        Clive Woodbridge, Editor of The Maritime Standard and Chairman of the Judging Panel, noted:


        “This year’s competition was exceptionally tough, with an unprecedented number of entries across
        all categories. The calibre of submissions reflects the tremendous progress being made across the
        regional maritime sector.”


        The rigorous evaluation process was overseen by an independent judging panel comprising

        some of the industry’s most respected figures, ensuring transparency and integrity in the selection
        of winners.
