café in Abu Dhabi and Kalemat Bookstore in Dubai. Notable discussions included Charles

Duhigg’s The Power of Habit and Sahar Mustafa’s The Beauty of Your Face, moderated
by Mervat Sami Al Jamal and Heba Salah, respectively. In Ras Al Khaimah, a session titled Open
Microphone with Professor Safiya Al-Shehhi explored Die Empty, moderated by Dr. Abeer Al Rasbi.

Internationally, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Library in Amman, Jordan, hosted a session moderated

by Hana Al-Kurdi, where participants discussed Dr. Ahmed Khairy Al-Omari’s The Night of the Fall
of Baghdad.
