Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) has appointed Ron
Young, founder of Knowledge Associates International in Cambridge, UK, as its Chief
Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence Advisor.

Established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President
and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in May 2007, the MBRF has pioneered
initiatives aimed at positioning Dubai and the UAE as global knowledge hubs.

MBRF is dedicated to empowering future generations by fostering sustainable solutions
that advance knowledge and research development across the Arab World and beyond.
Committed to building knowledge-based societies, the MBRF supports research projects,
activities, and initiatives, while nurturing ideas and innovation through its core pillars:
education, entrepreneurship, research, and knowledge development.

The Chief Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence Advisor will play a key role in helping the
MBRF integrate various ISO standards, certifications, and accumulated expertise with the
newly introduced ISO 42001 Artificial Intelligence standard into a cohesive management
system.
