Companies supported by the Khalifa Fund operate in the agricultural technology, food security and
sustainable agriculture sectors.
The participation comes within the framework of the Fund’s efforts to enhance the prospects for
growth and expansion of national entrepreneurship. Additionally, it aims to contribute to advancing
development within priority sectors.
This step provides the Fund with an opportunity to showcase its strategic initiatives to support
innovation and empower small and medium enterprises.
This is in addition to enhancing the international competitiveness of Emirati companies. It aligns
with national priorities and develops industry, supply chains, and exports.
Greens Africa 2025 represents a gateway to promising markets in Africa.
Its value is expected to reach one trillion US dollars by 2030.
Exhibitors from 16 countries
This year, the exhibition is held in conjunction with “AgroFood-Plastpack” (AgroFood-Plastpack),
with the participation of exhibitors from 16 countries.
This reinforces the exhibition’s importance in consolidating international cooperation in addressing
food challenges. It is key in shaping the future of the agricultural sector.
His Excellency Moza Obaid Al Nasseri, CEO of Khalifa Enterprise Development Fund, said,
“Participation in this exhibition reflects the Fund’s commitment to supporting emerging
entrepreneurs and Emirati entrepreneurs and enhancing their competitiveness globally. It is also
consistent with its vision to establish the foundations of a sustainable business system that
supports long-term growth and contributes to diversifying the tributaries of the national economy.”
During the event, Emirati companies supported by the Khalifa Fund will showcase the latest
innovative solutions.
These solutions cover several areas, such as value-added projects in food processing. They also
include sustainable agriculture solutions that take into account climate challenges.
The list of companies includes, for example, Eastgate, which operates bakery equipment. Another
is iPack, which specializes in producing high-quality sterile cardboard packaging.
The companies also include Orion, which specializes in providing advanced packaging products.
Also, Popular Bakorn, the family company specializing in producing healthy and distinctive
popcorn.
Khalifa Fund’s participation in Greens Africa 2025 represents an opportunity to facilitate the entry of
Emirati companies into African markets.
