Ajman University and Project Management Ins�tute Forge Strategic
Partnership to Advance Project Management Educa�on
Ajman, UAE – May 8, 2025 – In a shared effort to elevate project management capabili�es
across academia and industry, Ajman University (AU) and the Project Management Ins�tute
(PMI) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership brings
together one of the UAE’s top-ranked ins�tu�ons and the world’s leading authority on project
management to drive innova�on, professional development, and global best prac�ces across
the Middle East and North Africa region.
The MoU, signed by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, and Mr. Hanny
Alshazly, Managing Director, Middle East and North Africa, at PMI, outlines a comprehensive
collabora�on to strengthen career readiness and ins�tu�onal excellence in an increasingly
digital and project-driven world.

partnerships that support our future aspira�ons. We strongly believe in empowering our

Through this agreement, PMI will support the launch of a tailored digital pla�orm that will
provide AU students, faculty, and staff with exclusive access to PMI’s robust suite of
professional development resources. These include globally recognized cer�fica�ons,
experien�al learning opportuni�es, and engagement with an interna�onal network of
industry experts.
The collabora�on also includes the co-crea�on of case studies, shared access to academic and
professional tools, and joint par�cipa�on in regional and interna�onal events. These
ini�a�ves are designed to empower both ins�tu�ons to deliver high-impact educa�onal
experiences and foster agile, workforce-ready talent.
