FedEx partners with Emirates Post to launch shipping hubs

People can now walk into Emirates Post branches and send documents or parcels abroad without needing a
FedEx account.

FedEx has launched 68 new Authorised Shipping Centres across Emirates Post branches in the UAE, significantly expanding its retail
network and enhancing access to international delivery services.
People can now walk into a branch and send documents or parcels abroad without needing a FedEx account.

New hubs across all emirates

The centres’ services include FedEx International Priority, which delivers to major markets around the world in two to three business days,
and FedEx Regional Economy, a cost-effective option for less time-sensitive shipments across the Middle East.
The rollout extends FedEx services to all seven emirates, making its shipping services more accessible. It also comes amid growing
demand for express logistics in the UAE, where the population has now surpassed 11 million.
“This collaboration allows us to significantly expand our retail access points across the UAE through Emirates Post’s extensive local
network,” said Nitin Tatiwala, vice president of marketing, customer experience and air network at FedEx Middle East, Indian Subcontinent
and Africa.
Boosting global reach

The collaboration also reflects a broader shift in the UAE’s logistics landscape, where public-private partnerships are increasingly being
used to expand service reach and enhance customer experience.

By tapping into Emirates Post’s established footprint, FedEx is able to scale its operations more efficiently, while Emirates Post adds value
to its existing infrastructure without building from scratch.

Ayoub Ahli, general manager of Emirates Post, added: “By integrating FedEx Authorised Shipping Centres within our branches, we’re
reaffirming our commitment to accessibility and convenience. This empowers businesses and individuals alike, ensuring world-class
international shipping is within reach, wherever they are.”
