The Dubai EHRDC & CDA sign MoU to boost Emirati employment
The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) and the Community Development Authority
(CDA have partnered to boost Emirati employment in Dubai through targeted programmes, job fairs, and
community-driven initiatives. The MoU supports career guidance, skills training, and job matching, in line
with Dubai’s broader Emiratisation and social development agendas.
The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) and the Community Development
Authority (CDA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen employment
pathways for Emiratis in partnership will see both entities collaborate on launching targeted
employment initiatives, personalised career guidance programmes, and skills-based training to
equip Emiratis with the tools to succeed across various sectors.

A key feature of the collaboration includes hosting employment days at community councils to
connect Emirati job seekers with potential employers. These events are designed to facilitate direct
engagement, improve job matching, and strengthen employer-employee fit within local
communities.
The MoU also supports the broader goals of the ‘Dubai Social Agenda 33’and the ‘Dubai Economic
Agenda D33’, which aim to increase Emirati participation in the workforce and enhance job market
resilience. The partnership will additionally focus on data sharing and the creation of joint action
plans to address both the professional and personal needs of Emiratis, ensuring long-term
empowerment and improved quality of life.
