Emirati Human Resources Development Council And CDA Sign MoU To

Boost Employment For Emiratis In Dubai

In a move to strengthen the Emiratisation agenda and promote inclusive economic participation, the Emirati Human Resources Development Council
(EHRDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Community Development Authority (CDA) to enhance job opportunities for Emiratis
across Dubai. The strategic partnership is aimed at empowering national talent and fostering sustainable development in line with the Emirate’s broader
        socio-economic goals.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department and Deputy
Chairman of EHRDC, and H.E. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the CDA. The agreement reinforces the commitment of both entities to
work collaboratively on initiatives that support workforce integration, enhance job readiness, and align with Dubai’s long-term development strategies.

        Joint Action to Empower Emiratis

Under the agreement, EHRDC and CDA will jointly develop and implement programs designed to boost Emirati employment across various sectors.
These include tailored career guidance, specialized training, and job-matching initiatives to ensure national talent is equipped with the necessary skills to
thrive in an evolving job market.

H.E. Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi highlighted the strategic importance of the collaboration, stating, “The partnership underscores our commitment to
transforming leadership’s vision into practical initiatives that benefit Emiratis directly. By activating community councils as employment hubs, we aim to
connect job seekers with potential employers and promote equitable access to opportunities.”
H.E. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid emphasized the broader community impact of the agreement, adding, “This partnership is rooted in our belief that the
individual is both the driver and beneficiary of development. By enhancing institutional cooperation, we can unlock real opportunities that align with Dubai’s
vision for a cohesive and productive society.”

In Support of Dubai’s Social and Economic Vision

The collaboration is aligned with key government strategies including the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which
emphasize increasing Emirati participation in the labor market and ensuring long-term job market stability. The MoU also complements CDA’s
empowerment strategy, which focuses on enhancing citizens' quality of life and promoting their active economic participation.

As part of the implementation plan, the two entities will organize employment days at neighborhood councils. These events will provide platforms for
Emirati job seekers to explore employment opportunities, engage directly with potential employers, and access career services in a supportive setting.
