Statement by H.E.    Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi              ,

                            Director General    of the Family Development Foundation

                                            On Emirati Children's Day






               H.E. Al Rumaithi:
               The vision of H.H. Sheikha Fatima,  ‘Mother of the Nation,’  significantly contributes

               towards offering a conducive environment that nurtures children’s growth and develops
               their skills.






               H.E. Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi,  the Director General of the Family Development
               Foundation (FDF), praised the UAE’s socially inclusive and child-centric environment, which

               ensures children’s right to a positive, healthy  and balanced life that  provides abundant
               opportunities for learning, development and exploration. She further emphasised the steadfast

               commitment of the nation and its relevant authorities to foster an ideal environment that caters
               to different development stages of children, ensuring holistic and well-rounded development

               that meets their evolving needs and aligns with their continuous growth.





               On the occasion of Emirati Children's Day, Her Excellency said: “The UAE has established

               new benchmarks in child welfare, owing to the unwavering support and opportunities offered
               by our wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President

               of the UAE and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The country has implemented transparent strategies
               that prioritise children’s rights and empowerment while continuously hosting events and

               adopting best practices to build a strong, promising generation and a cohesive society.”



               Furthermore, H.E. Al Rumaithi expressed her profound gratitude to Her Highness Sheikha

               Fatima bint Mubarak, ‘Mother of the Nation,’ Chairwoman of the General Women's Union
               (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the FDF and President of the Supreme Council for

               Motherhood and Childhood, for her constant commitment to advancing child welfare across
