Dubai will be the home of the world’s largest car market after the Dubai Municipality and DP World signed a deal
on Thursday (July 4).

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,
directed the development of the Dubai Car Market, which will also be the most advanced car market in the
world. The project is part of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to double the size of Dubai’s economy
by 2033.

The massive new car market is set to cover an area of 20 million square feet and will be built under Sheikh
Mohammed’s vision. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, will oversee
the project. The market will have spaces to host major events and specialized conferences in the automotive
world.
