Cli mate First, which has inves ted in more than 50 cli mate tech lead ers glob ally, sees the UAE
as an ideal part ner for scal ing its com pan ies’ impact, com mer cial ising oppor tun it ies, and

ab il ity Week (ADSW) o ers a global pla form for advan cing clean energy and sus tain able
devel op ment. The event has gathered global lead ers, innov at ors, and stake hold ers to tackle
some of the world’s most press ing envir on mental chal lenges.

The part ner ship between Nex t gen FDI and Cli mate First aligns seam lessly with ADSW’S mis -
sion to foster col lab or a tion and deliver action able solu tions for a more sus tain able future.
Launched in 2022, the Nex t gen FDI ini ti at ive is a key pil lar of the UAE’S drive to diver sify its

eco nomy and pos i tion itself as a global hub for innov a tion. To date, the pro gramme has wel -
comed over 20 com pan ies oper at ing in future focused sec tors such as AI, renew able energy,
robot ics, and advanced man u fac tur ing, help ing accel er ate the UAE’S trans ition to a know -
ledge-driven, sus tain able eco nomy.
Mean while in Novem ber 2024 the Min istry of Eco nomy has announced that Con tinu ous Ven -

tures, an Ire land-based ven ture cap ital rm and accel er ator that spe cial ises in sup port ing
high-poten tial star tups in the tech space, has become a stra tegic part ner to its Nex t gen FDI
ini ti at ive, which seeks to atract pion eer ing global com pan ies to the UAE.

Con tinu ous Ven tures will sup port the ini ti at ive’s mis sion in three core ways: to use its know -
ledge to assess poten tial pro gramme entrants, o er go-to-mar ket strategies for recently
onboarded com pan ies, and intro duce their star tups to the ini ti at ive.
