GAS Launches 'Sports Talent' Platform To Empower Promising UAE

The General Authority of Sports (GAS) has unveiled the 'Sports Talent' platform as part of its
'Empowerment and Sustainability of Sports Talents' initiative. This groundbreaking online platform
aims to discover and support 1,500 promising sports talents, in line with the 'We the UAE 2031' vision

and the National Sports Strategy 2031. The platform seeks to create an inclusive environment that
nurtures the potential of young athletes across the UAE.

Visionary Leadership and Commitment

His Excellency Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Director-General of GAS, highlighted the initiative's goal to
expand sports engagement for talented individuals. “With the ‘Sports Talent’ platform, we aim to foster
a sports culture and develop a professional mindset among promising talents. Our efforts are aligned

with the ‘Year of Sustainability’ and the broader goals of ensuring the sustainability of sports talents in
the UAE,” he said.
