Investopia 2025 gathered over 100 speakers from around 20 countries. Participants included
government leaders, ministers, investors, entrepreneurs, economists, and venture capital fund
representatives. More than 3,000 attendees from leading financial institutions worldwide were
present.
Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi remarked: "Investopia serves as a key platform offering unique
opportunities to highlight the UAE’s competitive and attractive investment landscape for both local
and international investors." He emphasised the UAE's strategic location and business-friendly
environment.
Bin Touq outlined three main pillars of Investopia: 'Investopia Global Dialogues,' 'Investopia
Investment Communities,' and 'Investopia Marketplace.' These initiatives aim to connect global
investors with opportunities across various sectors while fostering continuous engagement
between stakeholders.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi noted that Investopia has been pivotal in boosting investment flows
and strengthening global economic cooperation. He highlighted the UAE’s flexible trade policies
and Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) that have opened new markets for
UAE exports.
Empowering Entrepreneurs
Alia bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei emphasised Investopia's role in connecting investors with
entrepreneurs and SMEs in the UAE. She noted that the country hosts over 16 government entities
supporting entrepreneurship alongside numerous incubators and accelerators.
Mariam Al Mheiri stated: "Investopia remains a powerful platform shaping the future of investment."
She highlighted its role in uniting global leaders to drive meaningful dialogue and collaboration in
emerging sectors like AI and sustainable economies.
Abu Dhabi's Ambitious Vision
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa expressed enthusiasm for Abu Dhabi's transformation into a hub for
growth. He mentioned plans to double the population and GDP over 15 years while maintaining
high living standards through modern technology integration.
Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak commented on long-term partnerships being crucial for success amid
geopolitical shifts. He stressed that these changes present opportunities to advance priorities
alongside investors and innovators globally.
Global Partnerships
The event featured participation from notable figures like Burak Dağlıoğlu from Turkey who praised
Investopia as a platform for foreign direct investment discussions amidst global uncertainties.
Turkey saw a 5.6% increase in FDI inflows in 2024 despite challenges.
Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi affirmed Emirates Development Bank's commitment to supporting
economic diversification through innovative financing solutions aligned with Investopia’s goals of
enhancing sustainable partnerships globally.
