The World Government Summit was established in 2013 under the leadership of His

Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of
the UAE, Ruler of Dubai. Its 12th edition, held in Dubai from February 11-13 under the

theme“Shaping Future Governments”, brought together governments, international

organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders to discuss and develop strategies

for economic, social, and governmental progress.
