UAE projects 5-6% economic growth in
2025, driven by non-oil sectors

an average rate of 4.8%.

Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy,
forecasts the national economy to expand by 5% to 6% in 2025,
propelled by sectors such as technology, renewable energy, trade,
financial services, and infrastructure.
Speaking at the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai, Al Marri
noted that between 2021 and 2024, the UAE’s GDP grew at an
average rate of 4.8%, with non-oil GDP averaging 6.2% growth.
Non-oil sectors now contribute 75% to the national GDP, aligning
with the “We the UAE 2031” vision.
