UAE and Japan to Finalize Economic Partnership by 2025

Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Trade, announced that the Comprehensive Economic
Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Japan is set to be completed by the end of 2025. This agreement aims
to strengthen economic ties and open new opportunities for both nations. The UAE is Japan's top trade partner in the Arab
world, accounting for 37% of Japan's exports to the region. Japan is also one of the UAE's top ten trading partners.
Discussions for this agreement began in September 2024, focusing on enhancing economic, investment, and trade relations.
