DUBAL Holding acquires equity stake in
BiOD Technology

DUBAL Holding, the sovereign wealth fund focused on sustainable and green investments, has
acquired an equity stake in BiOD Technology, the UAE and GCC’s largest biodiesel producer.
BiOD is known for converting used cooking oils (UCO) and palm oil mill wastewater (POME) into clean
biodiesel.
BiOD operates the only second generation biodiesel plant in the GCC region, actively contributing to
the circular economy and has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 84 percent, as evidenced by its
ISCC certification.
