Dubai Metro will celebrate its 15th year this September 9. RTA
Exciting activities and initiatives await as the Road and Transportation Authority (RTA) gears up for Dubai Metro’s 15th anniversary.

Dubai Metro, known as Dubai’s icon of public transportation, will celebrate its 15th year this September 9 with the theme “15 years on track”.

This year’s celebration will be packed with multiple activities and initiatives supported by a line-up of sponsors and partners. This includes
Keolis-MHI, the operator of Dubai Metro and Tram, as a strategic partner, together with LEGO Middle East, LEGOLAND Dubai, IGLOO, Al
Jaber Gallery, and Emirates Post as campaign partners.

Here’s what to look forward to during the celebration:
1. Limited edition post stamps for collectors will be issued by Emirates Post.
2. A Special Edition nol Card will be launched by the RTA featuring the campaign’s logo and an exclusive design by LEGO Middle East.
3. Limited edition IGLOO ice creams in the shape of Dubai Metro will be sold, with 5,000 of these ice creams containing a special code on
the sticks. Lucky finders of these codes will win one of 5,000 nol Terhaal discount cards.
4. LEGOLAND Dubai will host a special event for “Metro Babies”—children born between 9/9/2009 up to the same date in 2023. Parents of
these children can register them through RTA’s website (www.rta.ae).
5. Metro-themed souvenirs will be offered in Al Jaber Gallery.
6. Live musical performances at Dubai Metro stations will take place from September 21st to September 27th.
7. The 4th Dubai Metro Music Festival will be organised featuring Emirati and international musicians.
