UAE: Dubai Metro To Celebrate '15 Years

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is gearing up to celebrate the 15th
anniversary of the Dubai Metro under the theme "15 Years on Track". The event will
feature various promotional and entertainment activities, surprises, and initiatives
aimed at delighting residents and visitors from around the globe.

Since its inauguration on September 9, 2009, the Dubai Metro has become a popular
mode of transportation. This milestone anniversary offers another reason to hop on
the metro. Collectors can look forward to limited-edition stamps from Emirates Post,
while RTA will release a special edition nol card with a campaign logo and a custom
design by LEGO. Al Jaber Gallery will also provide metro-themed souvenirs for this
occasion.
