Statement by H.E. Ali Salem Al Kaabi,

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation,
                                            On ‘Zayed Humanitarian Day’

             Al Kaabi:

“Charitable work is a lasting legacy in the UAE and a foundation feature inherited by

             generations”.

H.E. Ali Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development

Foundation, affirmed that the Zayed Humanitarian Day is a national occasion that honours the late
founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s legacy, a philanthropic principle that made the United

Arab Emirates one of the world's largest donors of foreign aid. The message and values he had
conveyed to the world have only grown stronger over time, laying the groundwork for the UAE's

On the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan each year, His

efforts and active participation in aiding the impoverished, reducing the agony of the needy, help the

afflicted from various disasters, and easing the aftermath of natural disasters are significant indicators
             of this vision.

H.E. Al Kaabi further noted how the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan left a lasting
